About
I specialise in facilitating trade in professional, regulated and other services ā one of the most technically demanding areas of Asia-Pacific economic policy.
My work covers the regulatory frameworks that govern how professionals work across borders: FTAs, regional frameworks, ATISA, GATS Mode 4, mutual recognition arrangements (MRAs), domestic regulation disciplines in FTAs, and digitalisation, digital credentialing and AI. I work across the full policy chain ā from analytical research and framework design to capacity building programs and technical inputs to support dialogue, negotiations and implementation.
I have been regularly engaged in projects that support the work of APEC, ASEAN, DFAT, PECC and the Australian APEC Study Centre at RMIT across multiple economies in the region. My background combines a Masters in International Law with a Bachelor (Honours) in Planning and Design.
Iām Australasian: an Australian based in Nelson, New Zealand, working remotely and in-country across the Asia-Pacific.
